Question: What can Quest do for my company?
Answer:

If you would like your company to . . .

• get to know each other better
• work more effectively as a team
• improve cross-cultural communication
• operate with improved morale
• manage projects more efficiently
• increase productivity
• improve in other areas

... Quest can help you.

The benefits of Quest are far-reaching; however, they depend on the delegates' willingness to participate and commit to the programme. The results will last far longer than the programme itself, with Quest being used as a reference point long into the future.

Question: Who comes to Quest?

Answer:

• senior managers from multi-national companies
• departmental groups
• whole companies from the top down
• companies with their clients
• multi-national and multi-lingual groups
• please view our client list

Question: What is the typical age range of groups?
Answer:

20-60 years.

Question: What is an ideal length of training programme?

Answer:

1 - 2 days. The length of training varies from half-day programmes to two or more day courses. If your end goal is to develop High Performance Teams within your organization, our longer programmes would be our recommendation - they are the vehicle for creating long-term change in any organization.

Ultimately, your company would benefit from utilising Quest as a long term training resource where all employees from the top down receive the benefits of working effectively within a team environment.

Question: Why outdoor training?

Answer:

Quest programmes are designed to provide corporate groups an alternative training resource which combines the excitement of outdoor adventure activities with traditional corporate training. Simply stated, the concept is to learn by doing - doing something out of the office which presents challenges that, when overcome, can then be translated into the real work world. People tend to drop everyday facades as they solve unusual problems with their team mates. They get to experience the rewards of effective team work versus attempting to understand the benefits from a non-interactive, lecture presentation.

Question: How does Quest tailor a training programme?

Answer:

Our aim is to design an individual programme for your company which will address selected areas of development. Once we receive background information, the Quest team will decide how to effectively meet the broader aims of your company. Specific activities are selected based on information received about the group. Once the programme analysis form is filled out and faxed or emailed to Quest we will then contact you for a consultancy-based session to establish a suitable programme for your team.

Question: What does the cost include?

Answer:

• tailor-made programme
• all equipment and instructional materials
• professional instruction and facilitation
• coffee breaks
• refreshments
• lunch (in our full day programmes)
• round trip transportation within Laguna Phuket resort

Question: How fit do I have to be?

Answer:

Not very! Anyone can participate in a Quest corporate training programme. If you can walk up a flight of stairs, then you are fit enough to participate! Our aim is to turn your company into a team, not a group of athletes! Activities are 80% mental, 20% physical. Despite the moderate level of physical activity, our philosophy is "Challenge by Choice", so should delegates find an activity too challenging, they can choose not to physically participate.

Question: How many people can you take?

Answer:

It varies depending on your choice of programme objectives and requirements. We can accommodate small teams through to groups of 300 plus.

Question: Where can we stay?

Answer:

Laguna Phuket resort includes six international hotels and is located conveniently close to Quest. All meeting and incentive needs can be met in any one of these Hotels : The Allamanda Phuket, Banyan Tree Laguna Phuket, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, Laguna Beach Resort and Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket.

Question: Who built the course, is it safe?

Answer:

The Quest climbing tower and high and low ropes courses were built by a Sydney-based company who specialise in building climbing and rope structures. All course components are regularly checked by Quest staff for signs of wear, and details of every piece of equipment are noted in a log book and replaced regularly. Our ropes and climbing equipment come from gear manufacturers in Australia, the United States, Italy and France, and adhere to international safety standards.

Question: Who are your trainers?

Answer:

Our facilitators have a variety of backgrounds including adult education, corporate training and development, designing ropes courses, leadership development, and organization development. Our facilitators are chosen for their experience in the field. We are experienced professionals who combine our variety of skills and talents to provide the programme which will best meet your training needs.
